Accessibility
CincyPolitics is committed to making its content accessible to as many readers as possible, including people with disabilities. We aim to design and maintain this site in accordance with the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.1, Level AA.
This site is an independent, data-driven journalism project and remains in active development. We regularly review pages for accessibility and work to address barriers as they are identified.
Data, charts, and maps
CincyPolitics publishes a substantial amount of data, including dynamically generated charts, tables, and interactive maps. Where visualizations are used, we strive to ensure that the underlying information is also available in non-visual formats – such as data tables or structured text summaries, as appropriate – so that readers can access the same information without relying solely on visual presentation.
Some interactive features may not be fully accessible to all assistive technologies. When this occurs, we work to provide equivalent access to the information being presented.

We welcome feedback on the accessibility of this site. If you encounter an accessibility barrier or have difficulty accessing any content, please let us know so we can address the issue.

Ongoing efforts
Accessibility is an ongoing process. As the site evolves, we will continue to review new features and content with accessibility in mind and make improvements where needed.
